Patient Care Assistant

Job title: Patient Care Associate

Job location: New York, NY 10025

Shift: Evening Shift: 3:00-11:15 pm, EOW

Length: 3-month assignment

Pay: $18 -21$/hr

Requirements:

High School Diploma

AHA HeartSaver or BLS Required.

Additional Details:

• Assisted patients with ADLs, ambulation, feeding, bathing, and toileting

• Performed vital signs, intake/output, pain assessments, venipuncture, specimen collection, and EKGs

• Assisted with patient transport, dietary functions, rounding, and observation status

• Maintained safe, clean patient environment and isolation protocols

• Supported RN staff with procedures, documentation, and patient care activities

• Answered phones, assisted visitors, transported specimens, and maintained supplies/equipment

• Performed emergency clean-up, discharge bedmaking, and communication board updates

• Required strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and flexibility skills
