Job Summary

Bay Tree Therapy Group is seeking a compassionate and skilled fully in person therapist (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) to join our team. In this role, you will provide individual, couples, and family therapy to a diverse range of clients, addressing various mental health concerns and life challenges. This role includes working with children. You will work collaboratively in a supportive, professional environment and have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of clients across all ages and demographics. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality care and using evidence-based therapeutic techniques to promote emotional and psychological well-being. Marketing and intakes will be provided by Bay Tree Therapy Group.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, couples, and family therapy to clients with a variety of presenting concerns, including relationship issues, mental health disorders, and life transitions.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to develop personalized treatment plans based on client needs and goals.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
  • Foster a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment to help clients work through their challenges.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals to ensure holistic care and the best outcomes for clients.
  • Stay current with best practices in the field through ongoing professional development and training.
  • Manage a caseload of clients, maintaining an appropriate balance between client care and administrative duties.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support when necessary, including referrals to appropriate resources or emergency services.


Qualifications

Education: Master's degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

Licensure: Valid and current licensure with the Board of Behavioral Sciences.

Experience:

  • Must be independently licensed through the Board of Behavioral Sciences.
  • Clinical experience providing therapy, ideally with experience in individual, couples, and family therapy.
  • Experience working with a diverse client base, including individuals of various ages, cultural backgrounds, and presenting issues.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in a variety of therapeutic modalities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle a caseload and maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Additional Requirements:

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up to date with best practices in therapy.
  • Knowledge of ethical standards and legal requirements in the field of therapy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.

  • Pay: The pay range for this position is competitive and based on experience, with additional opportunities for bonuses based on training and caseload. We offer a supportive environment where compensation is aligned with your skills and contributions to the team.
  • Weekly admin stipend: Based on your client hours, you'll receive a base pay for notes, treatment planning, etc.
