We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW) to provide mental health and supportive services in a hybrid environment serving clients in the Sacramento area. This independent contractor role combines remote telehealth services with limited in-person sessions, assessments, or meetings as needed.
The ideal candidate is experienced in client-centered care, documentation, treatment planning, and collaboration with multidisciplinary providers.
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and intake evaluations
- Provide individual, family, or group therapy sessions
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Provide crisis intervention and case management support
- Coordinate care with healthcare providers and community resources
- Deliver services through telehealth and occasional in-person visits
- Ensure compliance with California ethical and confidentiality standards
- Maintain active ACSW registration and supervision requirements
- Active ACSW registration in California
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
- Experience in mental health, behavioral health, or community services preferred
- Knowledge of trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a contractor setting
- Reliable internet connection and secure remote workspace
- EMR/EHR documentation experience
- Telehealth experience
- Crisis intervention and risk assessment
- Bilingual abilities (Spanish preferred but not required)
