A faith-based, not-for-profit senior living community in Jackson, Michigan is seeking a compassionate, mission-driven Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead our skilled nursing and long-term care operations.
This leadership role is ideal for an experienced administrator who values servant leadership, person-centered care, operational excellence, and a commitment to honoring the dignity and well-being of older adults.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for the nursing home community
- Ensure high-quality resident care and regulatory compliance
- Lead, mentor, and support department leaders and staff
- Promote a positive, mission-focused workplace culture
- Maintain strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and community partners
- Oversee budgeting, financial performance, and census development
- Ensure compliance with Michigan licensing requirements and CMS regulations
- Support quality improvement initiatives and resident satisfaction goals
- Collaborate with organizational leadership to advance the community's mission and vision
Qualifications
- Current Michigan Nursing Home Administrator license required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years of leadership experience in long-term care or skilled nursing
- Strong knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations
- Proven leadership, communication, and team development skills
- Commitment to compassionate, resident-centered care
- Experience in faith-based and/or not-for-profit senior care environments preferred
