Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Supervisor to lead our care management team at our office in Woodland Hills. Our Care Managers provide remote care to patients from our office and we are looking for a vibrant leader with clinical experience to lead the team. In this role, you will be collaborating with our Care Management team and reviewing and approving care plans. There is no direct patient interaction or bedside care, as our services are provided remotely via phone calls. In this vital role, you will oversee clinical operations, ensure compliance with healthcare standards, and foster a collaborative environment that promotes high-quality patient care. Your leadership will drive the success of our remote monitoring programs, enhance patient outcomes, and uphold the highest standards of clinical excellence.


Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the Care Managers
  • Oversee clinical workflows ensuring accurate documentation and data entry.
  • Monitor patient assessments, vital signs, medication administration, and medical documentation to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
  • Provide guidance on clinical care
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and other healthcare standards across all remote monitoring activities.
  • Facilitate training on medical terminology
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop discharge planning strategies and coordinate ongoing patient care needs.


Requirements

  • Must be an active RN, NP or PA
  • Proven supervisory experience in a clinical setting with strong team management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, diagnostic evaluation techniques, and medication administration.
  • Experience working with diverse patient populations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards and experience managing medical documentation within EMR/EHR platforms like Athenahealth or eClinicalWorks is preferred.
