LifeBridge Health is seeking a compassionate and patient-centered OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST-PRN to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this PRN role, you will provide high-quality rehabilitative care to patients across diverse clinical settings within our regional Maryland health system, which includes hospitals, specialty centers, and community programs. You will evaluate patients with physical, cognitive, and functional limitations; develop and implement individualized treatment plans; and deliver evidence-based interventions designed to improve safety, independence, and quality of life in activities of daily living and meaningful life roles. Working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team, you will participate in care planning, communicate treatment goals and progress, and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers to support safe transitions across the continuum of care. Responsibilities include completing thorough occupational therapy evaluations, setting functional and measurable goals, providing therapeutic exercise and functional training, ADL and IADL retraining, cognitive and perceptual interventions, neuromuscular re-education, and recommending adaptive equipment and environmental modifications. You will document all care in the electronic medical record in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to professional, regulatory, and LifeBridge Health standards. This role is ideal for a flexible, motivated clinician who enjoys working in a collaborative, innovative environment that emphasizes compassionate care and continuous improvement in healthcare delivery. As a PRN therapist, you will have the opportunity to support patient care based on census and departmental needs, which may include weekdays, weekends, and holidays. You will demonstrate strong clinical reasoning, excellent communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to evidence-based practice and lifelong learning. At LifeBridge Health, you will be part of a team dedicated to improving health and promoting well-being in diverse communities. You will have access to professional development resources and opportunities for growth within a large, integrated health system that values collaboration, innovation, and community engagement. This position offers a supportive practice environment with access to experienced colleagues, modern facilities, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement savings options. Candidates should be graduates of an accredited Occupational Therapy program, hold or be eligible for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Maryland, and maintain current BLS/CPR certification. Prior experience in hospital, acute rehabilitation, or outpatient settings is preferred, though strong new graduates with relevant clinical rotations and a passion for patient-centered care are encouraged to apply. If you are looking to contribute your skills on a flexible PRN basis while working with a mission-driven organization, we invite you to consider joining LifeBridge Health as an Occupational Therapist.
