Hiring Permanent Nursing Home Administrator.
Broad Function: Directs the long-term care facility in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations to assure compliance. Assures that the highest-level quality of care is delivered to the residents. The Administrator is delegated the authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out his / her assigned duties. A visionary leader with strong financial and operational expertise in skilled nursing.
Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
Qualifications:
Education/Licensure:
- Current NYS licensure.
- Current licensure as Licensed Nursing Home Administrator.
Experience:
- Five years of demonstrated ability in management / administration and nursing home administration.
- A nursing background preferred.
Major Responsibilities:
Job Functions:
- Forecasts and projects facility trends and needs. Works with the facility management team to develop a workplan to achieve positive outcomes.
- Plans, designs, integrates, and coordinates services provided by the long-term care facility.
- Projects costs and works within the facilities' operating budget.
- Organizes facility structure: plans, directs, and supervises operations.
- Staffs according to the needs of the facility and its residents.
- Interprets and analyzes federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations to assure compliance. Provides direction to staff through communication and education.
- Sets facility goals and expectations.
- Controls quality and takes necessary corrective actions to achieve facility goals.
- Develops and delivers necessary policies, procedures and action plans.
- Innovates and leads staff to develop new ideas that enable the facility to enhance its attractiveness to the community it serves.
- Represents the organization and markets appropriately.

- Adheres to dress code; appearance is neat and clean.
- Completes annual education requirements.
- Maintains regulatory requirements and compliance.
- Reports to work on-time as scheduled; completes work within designated time.
- Wears identification while on duty.
- Maintains knowledge of skilled and acute facility needs.
- Ensures confidentiality of residents' records.
- Communicates the mission, ethics and goals of the facility, as well as the focus statement of the department.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
