Essential Job Functions

  • Prepare exam rooms and ensure readiness prior to patient visits
  • Room patients, obtain and document vital signs, and update medical histories
  • Assist providers during examinations and procedures
  • Administer injections, medications, and perform basic lab tasks as directed
  • Collect and process lab specimens (blood, urine, etc.)
  • Clean and sterilize exam rooms and medical equipment between patients
  • Support patient outreach efforts, including follow-up communication
  • Review provider schedules and assist with daily workflow coordination
  • Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system
  • Provide a friendly, supportive experience for pediatric patients and their families
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and quality care
  • Perform additional duties as assigned


What We're Looking For

  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program (CAAHEP or ABHES) OR active LPN license
  • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred (pediatrics a plus)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage a fast-paced workflow
  • Positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Dependability and professionalism in a clinical environment
  • Comfort working closely with both providers and patients
