Job Summary:

We are seeking a Registered Dietitian responsible for assessing patients' nutritional needs, monitoring food and drug interactions, and providing individualized nutrition education and diet plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct timely nutrition screenings and patient assessments
• Evaluate dietary needs and develop personalized nutrition care plans
• Monitor and document food-drug interactions
• Collaborate with physicians on diet modifications
• Educate patients and families on dietary plans and nutrition care
• Review labs, medical history, and social data to guide nutrition decisions
• Modify patient menus as needed and ensure proper documentation

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience (2+ years preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics / Nutrition / Food Science
• Registered Dietitian (CDR certification) - Required for acute care
• NY State Dietitian-Nutritionist Certification (NYSED) - Required for post-acute settings
