We are seeking a skilled and versatile CT/X-Ray Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment. This role requires proficiency in both CT and general radiology, with a strong focus on patient care, accuracy, and safety.

Job Title: CT/X-Ray Technologist

Location: Fort Wayne, IN

W2 Pay: $60-65/hr

Schedule: Nights (40 hours/week)

Start Date: 04/20/2026


Role Overview:

The CT/X-Ray Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic CT scans and X-ray exams using advanced imaging equipment. This position requires the ability to work independently, especially during night shifts, while maintaining high standards of patient care and imaging quality.


Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures following established protocols

• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during exams

• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including GE 64-slice CT and digital radiography systems

• Accurately document procedures using computerized systems

• Review physician orders and verify patient information prior to imaging

• Maintain high-quality imaging standards and minimize repeat exams

• Adhere to radiation safety and infection control guidelines

• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to support patient care

• Float between CT and diagnostic radiology departments as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of CT/X-ray experience (required)

• ARRT certification (CT and X-ray) (required)

• Active Indiana State License (ISDH) (required)

• BLS certification through AHA (required)

• Strong knowledge of imaging protocols and radiation safety

• Ability to work independently, especially during overnight shifts

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
