Growing transportation company is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to support and maintain a fleet of over sixty trucks operating throughout the Midwest. This role is critical to ensuring fleet reliability, safety, and uptime.

Job Details
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel trucks and trailers, including PM services, oil changes, and DOT inspections
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on tractors and trailers
Troubleshoot engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and fuel systems
Complete preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
Respond to breakdowns and perform emergency repairs as needed
Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and inspection documentation
Ensure all equipment meets DOT compliance and safety standards
Work closely with operations to prioritize repairs and keep trucks on the road
Monitor parts inventory and communicate needs for ordering and restocking
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all company safety procedures and regulations
