We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Registered Nurse Manager - (ICU/Critical Care) to oversee patient care delivery, enhance patient experience, and drive quality and safety initiatives. This role requires a strong clinical background in critical care along with proven leadership experience to guide nursing staff, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure excellence in patient-centered care.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support nursing staff in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
  • Ensure consistent implementation of Purposeful Hourly Rounding (PHR) and monitor care delivery standards through daily patient rounds
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and ongoing performance feedback to staff
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Address and resolve patient concerns promptly, including service recovery for patients and families
  • Promote a culture of compassionate, relationship-centered care
  • Lead shift huddles to identify high-risk patients and prioritize care needs
  • Monitor and improve patient satisfaction, experience metrics, and service standards
  • Ensure care delivery respects patient preferences, values, and cultural diversity
  • Maintain a safe, efficient, and compliant clinical environment
  • Lead quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
  • Identify and address clinical or operational issues through corrective action plans
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory, safety, and documentation standards
  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement


Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New York State)
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) required, master's preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of critical care experience
  • 2-3 years of leadership experience in an ICU setting required
  • Prior Charge Nurse or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive quality patient outcomes


Important Details:

  • 13 -week contract position
  • Shift is 7 hrs/day (7:00 AM-3:30 PM), 35 hrs/week
  • Location is New York, NY 10029
  • Hourly Pay Range: $114.28 - $122.85
  • Weekly Pay Range: $4000 - $4300
